1. Service Description
Frntl is an AI-powered personal operating system designed for thought leaders and builders. The Service captures your ideas (voice memos, quick notes, casual thoughts) and transforms them into professional, platform-optimized content using artificial intelligence. Frntl integrates with third-party services including email, calendar, and note-taking applications to provide a comprehensive productivity experience.
2. Account Terms
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
- You may only maintain one account per person. Duplicate accounts may be terminated.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by third-party services you connect.
- You must notify us immediately at support@frntl.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
3. Subscription and Billing
- Frntl offers subscription plans with pricing displayed on our website. Prices are subject to change with 30 days advance notice.
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Access continues through the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for requests.
- Free trial periods, if offered, convert to paid subscriptions automatically unless cancelled before the trial ends.
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
- Generate or distribute spam, malware, or deceptive content.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service beyond normal usage.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying systems.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
5. Intellectual Property
- Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or generate through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
- Our Service: Frntl, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and AI models, is owned by Frntl Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
- Feedback: If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
6. Data Handling
Your privacy matters to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to our data practices as described therein. All credentials and sensitive data are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption at rest and transmitted over HTTPS in transit.
7. Third-Party Services
Frntl integrates with third-party services to provide its functionality. These include:
- Google: Gmail and Google Calendar access for email management and scheduling.
- Notion: Note-taking and knowledge base synchronization.
- Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions.
- Anthropic (Claude): AI-powered content generation and processing.
Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not responsible for the accuracy or quality of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before publishing.
9. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if required by law.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data within 30 days unless required by law to retain it.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days notice of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
